The Consequential Robotics Team hope that you and your family are safe and well during this difficult period. We wanted to reassure you that we are committed to providing continuing support to our partners, schools and universities all over the world as best we can.
We understand that many of you will continue to work on your research projects and teaching programs remotely, therefore to support your growing need for remote learning and teaching options, we’d like to share that:
MiRo-E is a well suited robot for working from home.
MiRo-E, the friendly but sophisticated, low cost robotic platform is well suited for home learning and research due to its small size. Highly specified, MiRo-E has an expressive face, eyes, ears, and tail, including 43 sensors and 11 degrees of freedom, making it very emotionally engaging. For full technical details, please visit MiRo-E.com.
It also has excellent potential for developing capabilities as a social companion robot that can support people in isolation. We can ship to you with an approximate delivery time of 2 weeks.
MiRoCLOUD, the online educational interface will be available soon!
Designed for remote learning for schools and universities, MiRoCLOUD is also great for keen coding enthusiasts. The fun and user-friendly, browser-based educational portal allows learners to create their own programs and view a simulation of their virtual MiRo avatar, before demonstrating their work on the physical MiRo robot. Although, you don’t need a MiRo-E to enjoy using MiRoCLOUD as students can send their code to the class MiRo-E robot! To use MiRoCLOUD, simply register and log into your account on a computer with internet connection!
We will be offering some free test drives of MiRoCLOUD when we launch during May, click the button below to learn more.
